Manufacturer: HGN Design

Client: Westfield

Product: Jesmonite AC730

The Project

Nighttime view of Whitefords Brewing Co., with people dining outdoors under warm lights. Modern architecture, trees nearby.
Construction site with workers in hard hats. Scissor lift raised by blue building. Pallets of bricks and debris in the foreground. Clear sky.

This exciting Westfield Whitford City redevelopment specified 450sqm of Jesmonite AC730 exterior cladding panels.

With the project being located near to the Indian Ocean the client required a bespoke AC730 colour which mimicked a sand-like textured surface finish whilst at the same time achieving an excellent fire resistance. The exceptional properties of AC730 used in conjunction with Jesmonite Quadaxial Glass Reinforcement meant that lightweight panels up to 3sqm could be created, easily transported and installed on site.

“This project is an excellent example of how Jesmonite material solutions can be utilised to create a whole host of high end finished products. Jesmonite has been a huge success in Western Australia and we are now looking forward to expanding Jesmonite’s presence across the whole of Australia.”
