Advanced Moulding Materials for Repeatable Excellence

Concrete Cast Moulding and GRC Cast Moulding Materials

Turn intricate designs into durable, repeatable parts with Jesmonite. Our cementitious systems deliver the crispness of fine concrete, the toughness of GRC, and the control manufacturers need on the line. From window surrounds to porticos, balusters, basins and façade elements, Jesmonite captures the real stone look at a fraction of the weight and with faster turnaround.

Why manufacturers choose Jesmonite for Concrete Cast Moulding

High fidelity surfaces that pick up fine tool marks and profiles, ideal for architectural detail and premium décor.

Demould within 2 hours to shorten cycles and increase daily output, with full strength building over the next 24 to 48 hours.

Low permeability, low efflorescence formulations for reliable outdoor performance and consistent colour in service.

Flexible process compatibility across hand lay up, wet cast, spray and even rota moulding, so you can scale with the kit you already own.

Process Overview That Gets Repeatable Results

1. Prepare the silicone mould

Clean, brace in a box, and optionally apply a light release if you want easier de moulding and longer mould life. Platinum cure silicone is recommended for repeat accuracy.

3. Face coat for detail

Brush or pour a thin 3 to 5 millimetre face layer to wet out every recess, then allow the sheen to dull before backing up.

5. Cure and demould

Demould from around three hours depending on ambient conditions, then support flat for 24 to 48 hours while strength builds. Avoid stacking wet parts or leaving them in direct sun.

2. Weigh and pigment

Add oxide pigments to the dry base for consistent tone, then combine with liquid to the specified ratio and mix to a smooth, lump free paste.

4. Backfill and reinforce

Pour or trowel the backfill. Embed chopped strands or mesh where spans are large or edges are vulnerable. Tap or vibrate to relieve air.

6. Finish and seal

Slurry pinholes, then choose your finish. Acid etch, light abrasion, shot blasting or ageing washes will tune the stone expression. Seal with a UV stable, water resistant, breathable sealer for exterior service.
